I just learned that my dad is in the hospital. He’s having open heart surgery tomorrow. I’d be lying if said I wasn’t scared out of my mind. I called him, he sounds confident. He says the doctors say 99% of people who undergo this surgery feel pretty good after several weeks of recovery.

I love my Dad.
