When You Give Blood, And

Tuesday, September 19 2000

When you give blood, and after they pull the needle out of you, and ask “Are you feeling OK?”, that’s a moment that I could do without.

In my mind, I’m thinking “My arm is frozen… Maybe I’m sleepy because the bed was so comfy… If I say no, what will happen…”. I can never tell if I’m feeling ok, 5 seconds after giving blood or 10 days after giving blood. What kind of question is that? I hate it!
